Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev has arrived in Azerbaijan, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the President’s official website. The President will take part in the 3rd summit of the Cooperation Council of the Turkic Speaking States (CCTS) in Gabala. Kazakhstan President will also have bilateral meetings with Azerbaijan President Ilkham Aliyev, President of Kyrgyzstan lmazbek Atambayev and Turkish President Abdullah Gul. The first summit was held in 2011 in Almaty following the initiative of Kazakhstan President. The summit covered economic cooperation and resulted in signing of the Almaty Declaration. The Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States was established in 2009. It includes the Council of Presidents, the Council of Foreign Ministers and the Council of Aksakals (the elders). The Council currently has four members: Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
